New Beta Program offers preview on significant improvements in performance and productivity

Today we announce the start of the new ANKHOR FlowSheet 1.1 Beta Program. It offers an early preview on the many significant improvements compared to the current stable release (V 1.0). As of now, the first Beta release can be picked up in the Downloads section. It can be tried for 30 days without any limitations to functionality.

The performance of FlowSheets could be boosted by a factor of 3 to 5 by improving the parallel execution of operators, removing synchronization points in the parallel memory management and optimizing the execution of loop constructs. XML processing, analysis of log files, manipulation of large tables and rendering of complex diagrams profited especially from these enhancements. Together with many new functions, extended operator libraries facilitate the export of PDF documents, the design of dashboards and the interactive exploration of in-memory MOLAP data cubes. The integrated Quick Help system was equipped with a fast keyword search. This and the new online collaboration feature provide better support to users and developers of ANKHOR FlowSheet solutions.

Customers who already use the current stable version 1.0 of ANKHOR FlowSheet will be granted a free upgrade to the final version 1.1 when it is released. Already acquired license keys will stay valid and can also be used for unlimited testing of the coming 1.1 Beta and Release Candidate versions.

Starting today, it is finally possible to buy licenses of ANKHOR FlowSheet in our Online Shop!

At the same time, we have released the final "gold" version of the product (1.0.4.2768). Please pick it up in the Downloads section, and start using it today. All existing users are granted an additional 60 days evaluation period - simply execute the product activation process again when installing the final version of ANKHOR FlowSheet.

We are proud to announce the availability of version 1.0.0 of ANKHOR FlowSheet in the Downloads section. This is our first Release Candidate ("RC1"), featuring the product in the form as it will go on sale.

As a major change, this release employs the final product license activation and user registration process. When installing this version of ANKHOR FlowSheet, a user can first activate the product as either a "Home" or "Professional" trial, and use it for a period of 60 days. At the end of the trial period, you will not be able to save edits to your FlowSheets any more. However, it will also become possible to activate this version for permanent use with a license key that can soon be acquired in our shop (which will go online within the coming weeks). In case we should publish another Release Candidate, you will be given another 60 days of free trial for that version.

From now on, a user is not forced any more to register with his name and email address when installing the software. However, we encourage you to still make use of the registration to ensure that we can update you with news about our product and provide you better and more personal support.

We have reset the activation counts for all users, so after installation of the new RC2 version, you can activate the product again and get another full 60 days for evaluation. To do this, open the Activation Dialog  from the "File/ANKHOR FlowSheet/Activate" menu, and select "Perform Deactivation". Then activate the desired trial license again.
